Price, editions and the demo question
One edition, no demo currently listed, and a refund window that is doing the demo's job. Every regional price, checked against the Steam store.
What it costs

| Eurozone | EUR | €40.99 |
| United Kingdom | GBP | £35.75 |
| China | CNY | ¥158.00 |

Prices verified 2026-08-11 against the Steam store API. Steam sets regional pricing, so your local total may differ once tax is applied. There is a single edition — no deluxe tier, no season pass.
Is it worth the money?
Short answer: it depends which half of the game you are buying. The multiplayer, skirmish and Galactic War content is finished enough to be worth it today. The campaign is 11 missions with save/load still unshipped, and buying at $39.99 for that alone is where most of the negative reviews come from.
This is the game's single most argued-about subject, so we gave it a whole page: the honest verdict on whether ZeroSpace is worth it →
Where to buy
Steam is the only storefront. ZeroSpace is not sold on the Epic Games Store, GOG, or as a standalone launcher build. There is no console version.
You can also play it through GeForce NOW cloud streaming, which is the practical route if your hardware is below the minimum spec — you still need to own the game.
Will it get cheaper?
Two things to know. First, Early Access games commonly raise their price at 1.0 — buying now locks in the current price and includes the full release. Second, Starlance has not announced either a price change or a sale schedule, so anything you read predicting one is speculation.
If price is your blocker, the rational move is to wait for a normal Steam seasonal sale rather than for 1.0.
Frequently asked
Questions people actually ask about this, pulled from the Steam discussion boards and search data.
How much does ZeroSpace cost?
$39.99 in the United States, €40.99 in the eurozone, £35.75 in the UK, ¥158 in China and ¥4,600 in Japan. One edition only.
Is there a ZeroSpace demo?
Not currently. A demo and a playtest existed before launch but neither is listed on Steam now. Steam's refund window — under two hours played, within fourteen days — is the practical way to try it.
Is ZeroSpace free to play?
No. It is a paid game with no free-to-play tier and no in-game purchases advertised on the store page.
Where can I buy ZeroSpace?
Steam only. It is not on the Epic Games Store or GOG, and there is no console release. GeForce NOW can stream it if you own it.
Will Early Access buyers pay again for 1.0?
No. Buying during Early Access includes the 1.0 release, which is the standard Steam Early Access arrangement.
